Are kiddos free?
Yes, kiddos 12 and under are admitted FREE into the festival but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The concert area is fenced and a children’s’ play and activity area will be provided, but monitoring is the sole responsibility of parents and guardians. *** New for 2017*** Everybody entering the park will need a ticket, including kiddos! They are still free of charge for those that are 12 and under but a ticket must still be processed for them; kiddo tickets may be obtained at the festival gates.
When do festival gates open?
Gates to the concert venue open two hours prior to the first band taking the stage; 2 pm on Friday, and 9 am on Saturday and Sunday.

Our Box Office opens two hours prior to the first band taking the stage; 2 pm on Friday, and 9 am on Saturday and Sunday. You may purchase tickets to any of the days at our Box Office although gate prices do increase from the Blind Faith and Early Bird ticket prices.

* Single day tickets give you access to Friday, Saturday or Sunday shows, so you can pick and choose between your favorite lineups.
* Three day passes give you access to all three days.
* Three day plus camping passes give you access to all three days, and a camping spot in the festival camp ground’s general admission camping area. Each camper must have a three day plus camping ticket in order to camp.
* Premium camping upgrade tickets are available for individuals with three day camping passes and provides campers with access to tent and camper sites situated closer to the concert grounds and under the cool shade of Riverbend Park’s cottonwood grove. Please understand that this is a per person upgrade. Each person that wants to camp in the premium camping area must have a three day plus camping ticket as well as the premium camping upgrade ticket! These sell out early every year and will not be available for purchase at the box office!!
Where can I get tickets?
Tickets are available here on our site. Just click on the TICKETS button next to the day or days you wish to attend and follow the prompts. We accept Visa & MasterCard for online ticket sales.
Tickets are available in advance at the Palisade Town Hall, 175 E. 3 rd Street, Palisade, Colorado or call us at 970-464-5602. If tickets are not sold out, the Box Office will open 2 hours before the gates on festival days. We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash or check.
All shows are General Admission. We recommend bringing some ground cover and a camping or lawn chair. The Palisade Bluegrass and Roots Music Festival will enforce chair height restrictions so if you have high-back chairs, umbrellas or tents, we ask that you please position yourself toward the back of the festival grounds and not near the stage. Low-back chairs and blankets are welcome toward the front of the festival grounds and dance floor.
**Note** Please remove all your blankets and chairs everyday at the end of the festival, we will remove all left items that are left over night overnight.
No refunds or exchanges on your tickets. All sales are final. The event will go on, rain or shine.
No outside alcohol or glass are allowed within the concert venue. Coolers, bags and backpacks may be allowed in the concert venue, and only after being checked at the gate.

Do you have a lost and found?
Yes. Check with the festival’s box office. Please remember, we are not responsible for items lost or stolen. If it is valuable to you, it is probably safer at home or in your car.
Are dogs or any other animals allowed into the event?
NO! We are sorry, but we CANNOT allow dogs or any other animals in the camp ground, parking lot or concert venue unless they are service animals. It’s hard on everyone, including the pooches. This will be strictly enforced and applies to all festivarians, volunteers and vendors.
Can I bring alcohol into the concert venue?
No alcohol may be brought into the concert park. Beer, wine and mixed drinks will be available for purchase for guests 21 and over.
It’s legal to smoke marijuana anywhere in Colorado, right?
Actually, NO! It’s illegal to smoke cigarettes or marijuana in public places in Colorado. This is a community/family event – Please be respectful and mindful. Please follow these simple guidelines and continue to show that marijuana users are lawful, mindful and environmentally sensitive!

Where can I camp?
Three-day festival pass holders can purchase campsites for tent and campers. The entrance to the campground is on 36 ¼ Road, just south of Highway 6 and west of the Palisade High School. See the campground map on the accommodations page, and a map to the campground entrance on the Venue page.
What facilities are there at the campground?
Port-a-potties and drinking water stations are placed throughout the campground. Campers can take the shuttle at the festival entrance to free showers at Peach Bowl Park from 8 – 11 am. Showers taken after 11 am will cost $3.00 and includes swimming at the pool WITH your festival wristband. If you do not have your wristband the charge is $4.00.
When is the campground open?
The campground will open at noon on the Thursday before festival and close at noon on Monday after the festival.
Where can campers shower?
For those who have purchased camping, free shower facilities are available at the Pool at Peach Bowl Park (on the corner of Elberta and 5 th St. between the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The shuttle will make a regular stop at Peach Bowl from 8:00 to 12 noon. Charge for use of the shower facility after these hours is $2.50 and includes swimming at the pool WITH your festival wristband. If you do not have your wristband the charge is $3.00.
Will there be transportation between the campsites and the concert venue?
Yes. Mini carts will be circulating to offer rides between campsites and the concert venue while the venue gates are open. Just flag one down when you see it coming.
How can I get around town?
The Town of Palisade is providing a free shuttle which will allow festival goers to access downtown Palisade, local wineries and brewery, the Wine Country Inn and more. The Free shuttle will pick up passengers at the festival’s main entrance and make frequent stops at key locations in town approximately every ½ hour from 8 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 8 am to 9 pm on Sunday.
Riverbend Park is not only a great place for a music festival, but an enormous park as well. The campground is BIG and town is SMALL. Bring a bike as it’s the best way to get around the park and the festival. There is an extensive bike path along the river, which makes for the perfect way for excursions into and around town, back and forth from your hotel or campsite to the main stage, and wherever else you’d like to explore!
Is the Festival accessible for people with mobility disadvantages?
Festival grounds are level and accessible. Please let an event staff know if you would like assistance with mobility or seating.
What is not allowed on-site?
