This year Palisade is celebrating it’s 7th year of hosting the Palisade Bluegrass and Roots Festival in Riverbend Park. Set among the stately cottonwoods along the banks of the Colorado River, and situated against the backdrop of Mt. Garfield, the Bookcliffs and the Grand Mesa, the Festival’s outdoor setting is second to none. PB&R is bringing some of the best traditional and contemporary Americana musicians to the Grand Valley over the three-day Festival. The Festival will also feature yoga, music workshops, jam sessions, local wines, craft beers, hand-mixed drinks, delicious foods, artisan goods, a kid’s activity tent, and guided hikes and bike rides to natural, cultural and archaeological sites. Palisade is known as the Peach and Wine Capital of Colorado with the state’s greatest concentration of wineries, vineyards and orchards making it an ideal location for a weekend music festival and getaway.
All shows are General Admission lawn seating, so bring a chair, tarp or blanket to sit on. Shade tents and umbrellas are allowed towards the rear of the lawn. There will be lots of standing and dancing room closer to the stage.
**Note** Please remember to remove your blankets and chairs everyday. We will remove them at the end of everyday day after the music stops
