Camping at Riverbend Park

Riverbend Park opens its gates for camping only once a year — during our festival! This is your chance to experience the magic of sleeping along the banks of the Colorado River in this spectacular setting. To help make it a great experience for everyone, please read the camping details below carefully.

Camping Options

We offer two types of camping: Premium and General. Each provides a unique way to experience the festival and the beauty of Riverbend Park.

Premium Camping

Premium Camping puts you closest to the festival grounds and offers several lovely areas to choose from.

The Grassy Lawn

Tent-only camping and the closest spot to the main festival area. It’s ideal for families or anyone who enjoys a quieter atmosphere. There are convenient loading and unloading zones, with weekend parking nearby.

The Jam Zone

Offers both riverside and deep-shade tree areas. It’s a bit cozier, making it a friendly, social space where you’ll quickly get to know your neighbors. This year, vehicles will be parked head-or tail-in only (no lengthwise parking). RVs under 35 ft., tents, and car campers are all welcome. Please note that only one vehicle is allowed per campsite; additional vehicles can be parked in the nearby Premium Parking Zone.

What to Know: Camping Guidelines

We want everyone to have an amazing time while keeping Riverbend Park beautiful and safe.

Please take a moment to review these important camping guidelines:

Arrival & Check-In

Check-in begins Thursday, June 4th at 10 AM for Premium Camping, followed by General Camping entry at noon.

Our mobile box office opens at 8 AM at the Palisade High School parking lot and moves to the camping entrance after noon.

Campsites are first come, first served within each camping area.

No early arrivals at campgrounds before check-in time — we’ll be busy setting up the magic!

Vehicles & Parking

• Each campsite includes one vehicle only.

• Additional vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas.

• Once vehicles are parked, we ask that they remain parked for the duration of your stay.

No vehicles may enter or exit after 9 PM, except in emergencies or for approved late arrivals Thursday or Friday.

• Shuttles run to town and shower locations starting Friday.

• Please follow all staff directions when parking — it helps keep things safe and organized.

We recommend bringing bicycles or scooters for easy travel to and from the festival.

Campfires & Cooking

No open fires are allowed.

Propane camp stoves are welcome if fire restrictions permit.

• Keep all cooking gear elevated off the ground and away from dry grass.

Noise & Courtesy

Quiet hours: Midnight to 8 AM in Premium Lawn Camping.

• Be kind to your neighbors — music and laughter are encouraged, just keep it festival-friendly.

Pets

Pets are not allowed at the festival or in festival camping areas.

• It can get very hot during the day, and unattended animals in vehicles will be reported.

• If you must have your pet with you, we recommend staying at Palisade Basecamp, which offers camper hookups and shuttle service to the festival.

Leave No Trace

• Pack it in, pack it out — let’s leave Riverbend Park even more beautiful than we found it.

• Recycling and trash stations will be available throughout the park.

Departure

• All campers must be packed up and off-site by Monday at noon.
